Let’s take a break for a delicious Christmas tea time at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris after a visit at the Modern Art Museum Palais de Tokyo, or Musée Guimet.
Un merveilleux goûter de Nöel dans un lieu hors du temps au Shangri-La Hotel Paris
シャングリ・ラ ホテル パリで時代を超えた空気感で素晴らしいクリスマスのティータイム。

La Bauhinia
La Bauhinia a restaurant, tea salon with an timeless atmosphere.
A pretty glass ‘cupola’, designed by the architect Maurice Gras.
La Bûche enchantée – François Perret
The spirit of Christmas with Santa Claus’s reindeer in en enchanting log.
I love the contemporary shape and of the trees and the little wink with the Santa’s red sugar sparkling hat…
The magical trees made of an ultra-thin layer of chocolate, hide a light dark chocolate flour-free biscuit and a white creamy chocolate mousse balanced with a home-made orange marmelade
. Contrasting textures are given but caramelized roasted cocoa nibs coated with chocolate.
It is creamy and crispy !!
I loved the lightness of the mousse, the not too sweet and the perfect balance of flavors and contrasting textures.
Available / Disponible: 5 – 25 dec 2014 on order 24h before or at restaurant La Bauhinia

THE cacao vanilla marble cake
And you are thinking … And then a marbled cake?
It seems that customers come from far especially for this cake.
OH LA LA …. Warning very dangerous if you don’t live in Paris you will be obliged to come back soon…
Incredible texture, soaked with rum but not spongious … I am not an unconditional of alcohol in pastries … The result is splendid. Réminissences of an amber fragrance that amaze vanilla scents. And of course … and tasty cocoa layer “craquano-loft” chocolate …
Uhhh, I am in full delirium of gluttony sin …
And one more addicted to this devilish cake …
This was an amazing Christmas tea time…
Thank you François Perret and Audrey Roger for your time and the discovery.
