An authentic Parisian bistro atmosphere and design: Art nouveau style, confortable red seats, white tableclothed and dressed staff.
There are two menus: A traditionnal bistrot type menu with steaks, delicatessen & cheese plates.
And a gastronomique menu at 35€.
The 35€ menu
A starter, main and dessert to choose from 4 choices each.
A tasty dish of marinated mackerel, celery, green apple emulsion, rocket salad.
A colourful, visual and fresh sea bream tartar with marinated lemon, cucumber milk, beetroot foam.
A bold starter ! “The pig, from head to foot” because all is good in the pig !
Cromesqui with fried vegetable and pig feet, pan fried crispy ears , boudin (blood sausage) with Espelette pepper from Christian Parra (a real deligh for me who does not like boudin). Crispy pancake potato. A 9,50 € dish with such a huge work.
Delicious white asparagus from Landes, a tasty “perfect egg”, Pimenton (smoked paprika) cream , herb salad and Bellota juice (difficult to identify, even for the purist of bellota).
The pollack is perfectly cooked. A delicious Comté cheese & curry , crisp, baked crust and green asparagus with morel sauce. Perfect !
A lot of work and flavors in this dish. The saddle of lamb from Lozère is gently cooked with thyme. The mashed artichokes is a delight.
Delicious with its piquillo sauce and black olives juice.
The supreme of guinea fowl is tasty and tender. A chard cake containing Riso pasta with truffled ham. Exquisite !!!
Faultlessly classic creamy chocolate ganache tart with 66% cacao Caribbean dark chocolate and its fruity passion fruit/coffee sauce
All products are from quality producers… I had to ask for Café Richard, which is also a thought choice…

Pierre Vila Palleja
Pierre Vila Palleja, owner and sommelier created a wine list that includes 800 references !!! After working in beautiful maison (Ritz, Crillon, Lasserre), he took over the family restaurant and wants to develop more gastronomic dishes. While keeping the classic menu, he wants to offer a seasonal menu pairing precisely with his wines. He chose the chef Nicolas Bouillier (George V, Les Fables de la Fontaine) to create a beautiful bistronomic original menu, with a nice price. Very impressed by the passion and dedication to details of Pierre.

A nice selection of Spanish, US, Argentina, Australian and Italian wines (Ohhhh a Langhe Nebbiolo from Sottimano which is not that common to taste in Paris)
I am amazed by the friendly atmosphere of the restaurant. Parisians and tourists exchanging about food, life in Paris… Pierre confirmed that it was usual and the importance for him to have a warm atmosphere. What ? It was not thanks to my natural sympathy ? ?
Finally !!! I am able to recommend an excellent & authentic Parisien bistro!
Very good value for the 35 € menu. They also organize “winemaker-dinners” every month.
